Primary 7 went to visit a CGNEE Windfarm near Coleraine to find out about renewable energy and wind turbines. They also found out about the importance of the renewable energy sector in the global fight against climate change. The pupils got to learn from the engineers about all the aspects of a wind farm, STEM jobs and how the sector is helping the government meet climate targets.
This presentation will provide a summary of some of the activities the Primary 7 pupils took part in during the Academic Year 2021 - 22. The staff, pupils and governors wish all our P7 Leavers all the best for their Post Primary Schools and lots of luck in the future.
The P7 topic this term is flight. We learned about Amelia Earheart and how she crashed in County Derry Northern Ireland. We watched a video of it and decided we would make our own using green screens. Why dont you take a look?
Primary 7 pupils were designing and making space suits, helmets, life support systems and mission patches. They then used I pads and green screen technology to make their own sci-fi movie clips.
Watch our digital open day video to see what St Patrick's and St Brigid's Primary School and Nursery Unit have to offer your child. Details for enrolment for prospective Nursery and Primary 1 parents are included at the end of the video.
